The Power Of Your Words

When I choose to dedicate a site, to mermaids of the world, I was being quite intentional. It is NOT my intent to EXCLUDE anyone. That is not the way of the mermaids. However, It IS my intent to gather those who feel and KNOW we live in a gracious, abundant world being ruined by the greed, hatred and bigotry of a few. Those few are poisoning the minds of the weak and ignorant. This will continue until WE say ENOUGH!

Words power our messages to the world for good or evil. Using our words to uplift, inspire and MOVE the world into a greater sense of community, of love, or joy and sacred bliss is a great example of how our words can change the world.

Then there are the words of hate, division, disinformation and despair. Creating a WORSE world is akin to spitting in the face of God. We were given intellect to ascertain what is true, what is factual, what feels spiritual, or what feels hateful. WE can FEEL the difference. There are those who will tell you, they didn’t MEAN what they said, yet the meaning of their words will always ring true - it is what the heart feels.

I do my best to inspire, but at times am to weary to to even speak, let alone inspire. So, it was with great joy I read these quotes from Fran today.

Just remember, you’re words and the intent behind them are remembered for far longer than you can imagine. Speak and act accordingly!
